Frequently Asked Questions

What are the requirements?

To use SugarStats all you need is any computer (Mac, Windows or Linux), an Internet connection (broadband preferred) and a modern web browser (IE 5.5+, Firefox 1.5+, Opera 8+, Safari 1.3+).

There is no software to install, no plugins to fiddle with. SugarStats.com is a hosted web application which means it resides on our secure and fast dedicated servers. This gives you a single and secure location to store and access all your information.

Any hidden strings attached to the free account?

Not at all, it is absolutely free. We want to make this app as widely available to the diabetic community as possible. So the free plan will always be free and have the majority of the major features that make up SugarStats.

What kind of payment is accepted?

For our premium account which offers no ads, ssl encryption and more features we accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover with optional month-to-month, bi-yearly and yearly billing cycles. Month-to-Month Premium accounts can be downgraded at anytime. Bi-annual and yearly pre-paid premium plans can also be downgraded or deleted at any time and are none-refundable.

Can I cancel or delete my account?

Of course! At any time.

Why do I want to track food intake and physical activity?

If you're serious about taking control of your diabetes and improving your health you need to keep track of more than just Sugar Readings and Medication. You need to take into account many other elements that directly effect your blood glucose such as the foods you eat (Carb tracking) and physical activity.

Then share all these stats with your family, doctor and diabetes support team to come up with an effective game plan and sustain your optimal diabetic health.
